The benefits of Reiki training provide improvement to the community and therefore the Reiki Master as well.
What is energy work?
its when Universal or Life force substance (energy) is used to raise the frequency (energy) of the physical body. Some practitioners prefer to use hands-on, while other just send or project higher energy out of their hands into the clients energy field. At the fundamental level of our being, we are an interchange of energy and consciousness. In other words, we are spirit wearing a physical body.
When an application of higher frequency energy is applied to a person they naturally feel lighter and better. A person feels “bad” when their energy flow gets low and they’re more likely to “catch a cold” or get the flu. When the energy is high the person feels “good” they are filled with inner peace, joy, etc., and have a better connection to source energy.
Energy can be applied easily to yourself or others. This life force is the energy behind everything. Wherever this energy is flowing and balanced, there is health and well being. Wherever this energy is being blocked, or cut off, there is dis-harmony and dis-ease. The ability to flow more source energy results in less health problems, doctor visits, prescriptions, (including side effects), and so on. However, sometimes a slight “healing crisis” can occur while the body releases toxins. (by drinking plenty of water, resting, and eating properly, this usually passes quickly.)
There are many different methods and names of energy modalities; such as Reiki (including Reiki Master and distance work), Quantum-Touch, Faith healing, Qigong, AIM Program of Energetic Balancing, Healing Touch, Angel Healing,, Spiritual healing, Pranic Healing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Therapeutic Touch, Sedona Method, Shiatsu, Polarity Therapy, Acupressure, Kinesiology, Medical Intuition, Bioenergy, Energy psychology, NLP, Chinese Medicine, Ayruveda, Laser Reiki and ETC.
These modalities can be used to complement mainstream methods or stand alone as an alternative approach. An energy practitioner attends to the symptoms of distress, such as stress or pain, in a prayerful type manner, focusing of the flow of body / mind / spirit energy as the client becomes more centered and peaceful. Gentle touch is sometimes part of the process, but it is not necessary to touch*. Energy treatments can create relaxation, release trauma, and energize the thinking process, providing insights for making lifestyle changes.
(*NOTE: only licensed professionals, such as a doctor, nurse, or massage therapist may touch a client. Non licensed people may touch family members, or class mates – only with their permission, for study / practice, otherwise all work must be “off the body”, which is two to four inches from the physical body.)
